Educational History
I attended elementary school at Country Isle Elementary through 4th grade. For 5th grade I attended Indian Trace Elementary for Project Zenith. I went to middle school at Indian Ridge Middle, where I became invloved with the Orcheastram, Drama, and National Junior Honor Society. I just finished my junior year at Western High School and I am looking forward to an awesome senior year.
Academic Accomplishments
In High School I have currently the highest GPA for the incoming senior class: 5.0. I have also been on the Principal's Honor Roll and been named Best Chemistry Student. I have had the honor of representing my school at Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) and Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge.
Extracurricular Activities
I thoroughly enjoy Water polo, as well as Swimming. I am captain of my School's Water Polo team and we have gone to States twice and this year we were 2nd in the district-- we lost in sudden-death overtime to the district champs. This year as a team we were successful in many fundraising endeavors. Through the help of the best coach in the world, Michael Goldenberg, we were able to succeed in water polo as well as in our respective personal goals. My coach is awesome. This year I made All-county Honorable Mention for water polo as well as recieved the Most Improved Water Polo Player award for the second time in my high school career.
In addition to athletic activities I articipate in National Honor Society, Debate (I am a current member of the National Forensic League), I was involved in the computer club for two years- one year I was the treasurere and the next I was vice President, in addition I also am involved in Mu Alpha Theta (math club).
Hobbies
- Water polo- I am on a club team
- Church - I am 2nd counselor to the President of my Church's Youth Group
- Piano - I have played for over a decade
- Spoons - I collect spoons from everywhere
- And last but not least my passion: Russian Culture - I am a Russophile. I love the Russian Architecture, Literature, Language, Food, and Art. I hope someday to live in St Petersburg and/or Moscow for a semester in college.
