SALT Software was started 25 years ago by four entrepreneurs: Nneka Eze, Anthony Ponce, Cindy Ramirez, and Lisa Vermillion. One of the first challenges that faced the four co-founders was to decide on a name. After minutes of pondering, Anthony came up with the perfect solution. If you arrange the four last names in alphabetical order and take the first letter of each corresponding first name, you get N-A-C-L, or sodium chloride! Needless to say, SALT Software was born!

SALT software realizes that standardized tests like the SAT can cause massive amounts of strain on students. More specifically, we find that students generally have more trouble on math sections than on any other section. For this reason, we have constructed our software to cater for students who struggle in mathematics.

For the past 25 years, we have devoted countless hours perfecting our software to help those students in need of a little extra practice before taking the SAT. We have received thousands and thousands of letters thanking us for our wonderful software.
